Grab a cup of coffee and join us for a short 10 minute conversation on Universal Design and Inclusive Architectures with our resident intern architect design nerd.

NOTHING ABOUT US WITHOUT US!

Well documented attacks on trans and non-binary people are taking place in our town-owned public restrooms. This is part of a broader public health crisis of sexual assaults, verbal and physical aggression, and an increased risk of youth suicides.

If you listen to trans+ voices, you will learn that we are being systematically shut out of the inclusive bathroom project that WE brought to a unanimous vote last year!

These bathroom attacks are hate crimes, yet our administrators chose NOT to report them as such.

Yes, even here in LGBtQ Ptown!

After 12 months of waiting, town admin did a gender reveal of their proposal for an 'inclusive restroom'. And guess what, after banning experts, architects, trans folks, and community participation,

It's a FAIL!

This is why we reject

Article 19-6.

Huh?, you ask. We did too!

So we made a video with our design nerd inter-architect trans fella for a fact check and a deeper conversation. It's worth a gander.

All -Gender or Gender Inclusive Bathrooms are fully supported by our trans & non-binary community and...

  • Mass State Building Code

  • Major Architecture firms

  • The Amercian Medical Association

  • The American Psychological Association

  • American Plumbing Unions

  • Federal and State Civil Rights Laws

  • The International Code Council (for building safety)

  • IBC 2023 International Building Code for Canada and the US

  • UCLA Williams School of Law

  • Cities of Worcester, Lowell, Cambridge, Boston, and Washington, DC, and even Kansas City, MO!

  • OSHA

  • Womencrafts, Provincetown

  • and many more..

That is why at Ptown's Annual Town Meeting April 2026, our allied community FLUSHED Article 19-6!

Thank you to all who showed up, spoke up, or just trusted us with your vote of support!
